Baharat Seven Spices

Beirut Spice Co.'s Baharat is a Lebanese seven-spice blend: sweet, earthy, and aromatic, with gentle peppery warmth from black pepper, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, galangal, and white pepper. Baharat means “spices” in Arabic, and this version is freshly ground in Aley, Lebanon.

Use it as an all-purpose seasoning for kabab, kafta, beef, lamb, chicken, ground meat, lentils, rice and pilafs, soups, stews, and roasted vegetables. Add it early in cooking so the warm spices can develop fully.
